Race Day: Sunday, April 27, 2014

Timing services are being provided by Gault Race Management for the Marathon, Half-Marathon, 5-Person Marathon Relay and 5K using Chronotrack disposable tags. Mats will be placed along the course and at the start and finish.

Gault Race Management is proud to announce the implementation of ChronoTrack, a new system that uses a disposable tag called, a B-Tag. One of the many goals of the ChronoTrack system is to simplify the timing process for athletes. The B-Tag eliminates the need for you, the athlete, to worry about turning a chip in after the race. This allows you to relax and focus on competing. Shorter lines at packet pick up and you do not have to return your tag or B-Tag at the finish. These are benefits of using the ChronoTrack system.

The B-Tag comes attached to your BIB number. There is nothing you need to do except attach your BIB to your body in the following manner:

  • Race bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Race bib is unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Race bib is pinned in all four corners
  • Race bib is not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)

XAct Text and Social Media Messaging

Live runner tracking and social media messaging is rapidly becoming the standard in the runningindustry today. Race participants want to connect with their colleagues, friends and family to share their excitement and pride in accomplishing a goal.

XAct Text and Social Media Messaging has a proven track record for providing fast, accurate and reliablemessaging at running events throughout the country. Runner’s times are communicated at select locations to anyone who signs up for the service. Gault Race Management has partnered with XAct to offer this exciting service. WithXAct, runners times are collected at select timing locations on the course and communicated through four media – Text (SMS), Email, Facebook and Twitter. All messages feature the race name, sponsor, runner name, time at location, pace and projected finish time. Facebook can also feature the race and/or sponsor logo.
